Former Ghana midfielder, Sulley Muntari has emphatically condemned Otto Addo's choice to make Mohammed Kudus Black Stars captain during the 2025 Africa Cup of Countries (AFCON) qualifiers.
The West Ham United assailant was given the commander's armband by lead Coach Otto Addo after ordinary captain Thomas Partey pulled out from the crew because of injury in front of the doubleheader game against Sudan.
The unfortunate dynamic prompted Ghana's inability to meet all requirements for the 2025 AFCON competition which is planned to be facilitated in Morocco not long from now.
Muntari, addressing 3Sports contended that Kudus, however bound for future initiative, ought not be hurried into the job.
