Ghana Music Awards 2026 - also called the 27th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA 26) - just happened.
1. When & Where
- Date: Saturday, May 9, 2026
- Venue: Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Centre. Earlier reports listed La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, but it was held at the Grand Arena.
- Organizers: Charterhouse Productions, powered by Telecel Ghana.
2. Big Winners
Artiste of the Year: Black Sherif
He won 5 awards total, including his second Artiste of the Year after 2023.
Other major wins:
- Album/EP of the Year: Black Sherif – Iron Boy
- Best Hiplife/Hip-Hop Artiste & Best Collaboration: Medikal – Shoulder ft. Shatta Wale
- Best International Collaboration: Moliy -Shake it to the Max remix ft. Shenseea, Skillibeng, Silent Addy
- Best Highlife Song: Kofi Kinaata – It is finished.
- Best Afrobeats Song: Kojo Blak ft. Kelvyn Boy – Excellent
- Best African Song: Davido & Omah Lay – With You
- Gospel Artiste of the Year: Diana Hamilton – This is the doing of the Lord
- Best Afrobeats/Afropop Artiste: Wendy Shay

Nominees were announced on March 14, 2026. The top Artiste of the Year nominees were:
Black Sherif, Medikal, Stonebwoy, Wendy Shay, Sarkodie, Diana Hamilton.

- Best Highlife Song: Kofi Kinaata – It is finished won

The scheme had over 25 categories. This year introduced a "swing period" policy to allow late 2024 songs to be considered if they gained traction in 2025.
