| Terry (Dinero) Murder Case: Three Suspects Remanded By Teshie Court, Adjourned To Oct 16 |
The case surrounding the death of Circle phone dealer Nana Yaw Kyere, popularly known as Terry or Dinero, has moved to its next stage. Three suspects connected to the alleged kidnapping and murder appeared before the Teshie-Nungua District Court on Monday, September 28, 2026, where the charge sheet was formally read to them.
The accused have been identified as Philip Dzifa Kofi Tefe, Sarah Osei Adams, and Josiah Obodai. All three were remanded, and the case has been adjourned to October 16, 2026, for further proceedings.
According to a police press release, preliminary investigations indicate that Terry left his residence at Kokomlemle in his Honda Civic on September 19 and never returned. Police say he was allegedly lured to Philip Tefe’s residence at Teshie Agbleza by Sarah Osei Adams, who they say has since confessed to her involvement, along with Tefe.
Per the police account, Tefe allegedly struck Terry with a metallic object during a confrontation, after which Terry was reportedly moved to another room, left unattended, and later died. Investigators say his body was subsequently transported and abandoned near the motorway, where it was found partially burnt at Community 18. Terry’s mother and an uncle identified his body at the Police Hospital morgue on September 24.
Police also say they recovered Terry’s iPhone 12, which they allege Tefe sold for GH¢100, along with his Honda Civic, which had initially been reported missing.
